    Provision a Service Account with a scoped Security Role

    Provision a dedicated Service Account in UKG Pro with a Security Role scoped to UKG Pro Recruiting permissions only — no access to Core HR, Pay, or Workforce Management.

    Issue OAuth client credentials

    Request a Client ID and Client Secret from UKG with scopes for candidates, applications, opportunities, and offers (read + write). UKG enables the scopes on your tenant; we never see customer credentials directly.

    Set up the invite Workflow Communication

    Add the TalentSprout email template under Recruiting Communications with the interview URL as a merge field. Attach it as a Workflow Communication on the Disposition Step where invites should fire (e.g., “Phone Screen”).

    Map scorecard fields

    Decide how TalentSprout scorecard data appears on the Candidate Application via the UKG Pro Recruiting REST API v2. We provide a default field mapping; your admin adjusts as needed.

No. TalentSprout uses UKG Pro Recruiting's standard REST API v2 directly. No Integration Hub configuration, no custom middleware, and no custom integration code on your side. Your team configures everything using standard admin tasks (Security Roles, Recruiting Communications, Recruiting Workflow).
Invite URLs already sent continue to work — they're standalone and don't depend on UKG Pro availability. Scorecard writeback is queued and retries with exponential backoff when the tenant becomes available again, so transient outages don't cause data loss.
UKG Pro Recruiting on the UKG Pro HCM Suite. The integration architecture is built on UKG Pro Recruiting's REST API v2 and Workflow Communications, which are stable across UKG Pro's quarterly releases. We confirm release compatibility during onboarding. UKG Ready is a separate product line and uses a different API surface — reach out if that's your deployment.
Candidate interview data is retained per your configured retention policy. On candidate request (GDPR / CCPA right to deletion), data is deleted across TalentSprout systems and the corresponding Candidate Document is removed from UKG Pro Recruiting. A full DPA is available on request.
