    Create an API user with a scoped Permission Role

    Provision a dedicated technical user in SuccessFactors with an RBP role scoped to Recruiting Management permissions only — no access to Employee Central, Compensation, or Performance modules.

    Set up the invite email template

    Paste the TalentSprout template into Manage Recruiting Email Templates with the interview URL as a custom field token. Customize wording, branding, and sender identity to match your candidate comms.

    Configure a Recruiting Email Trigger on your Application Status workflow

    Attach the email trigger to the Application Status where invites should fire (e.g., “Phone Screen” or your equivalent). Use trigger conditions to scope which requisitions fire.

    Map scorecard fields

    Decide how TalentSprout scorecard data appears on the Job Application via OData write-back. We provide a default field mapping; your admin adjusts as needed.

Scope by job family, location, business unit, requisition tag, division, or any field on the Job Requisition or Job Application object. Changes take effect immediately, with no TalentSprout-side configuration needed.

No. TalentSprout uses SuccessFactors' standard OData v2 API directly. No SAP Cloud Integration flows, no custom CPI development, and no custom integration code on your side. Your team configures everything using standard admin tasks (Manage Recruiting Email Templates, Manage Application Status Workflow, RBP roles).
Invite URLs already sent continue to work — they're standalone and don't depend on SuccessFactors availability. Scorecard writeback is queued and retries with exponential backoff when the instance becomes available again, so transient outages don't cause data loss.
SuccessFactors Recruiting Management on Enterprise editions, including SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite. The integration architecture is built on SuccessFactors' standard OData v2 API and Recruiting Email Triggers, which are stable across SuccessFactors' quarterly releases. We confirm release compatibility during onboarding.
Candidate interview data is retained per your configured retention policy. On candidate request (GDPR / CCPA right to deletion), data is deleted across TalentSprout systems and the corresponding SuccessFactors attachment is removed. A full DPA is available on request.
