That’s why we’ve built TalentSprout to support GDPR requirements — with strong security, transparent data handling, and tools that make it easy for customers to meet their obligations. In most hiring workflows, our customers act as the data controller, and TalentSprout acts as a data processor for candidate interview data. We provide a standard Data Processing Addendum (DPA) and support international transfer safeguards (EU SCCs / UK Addendum) where required.

Our latest update includes data download and data deletion features, allowing users to view, export, or permanently remove their data in just a few clicks. These updates help TalentSprout support GDPR requirements and global privacy best practices.


What’s New

We’ve introduced several platform-level updates to support GDPR and global privacy best practices:

  • Data Access: Candidates can request/export a copy of their interview data.
  • Right to Erasure: Candidates can request deletion; we process verified deletion requests in line with customer instructions and applicable law.
  • Transparent Privacy Policy: Our updated policy clearly outlines how data is collected, processed, and retained.
  • Secure Storage & Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest on secure infrastructure.
  • Retention Control: Retention is configurable, and data can be deleted at the employer’s request.

These updates were built into our product architecture — not added as an afterthought.
